Arts House

Arts House is located in the former "Maids Hall" built in 1914, and accommodates 50 students in double rooms in a community.  Arts House is known for its creative energy. diversity and welcoming culture of community.      

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hall Features

  • Three storey traditional building accommodating 50  students, co-ed
  • Rooms on both sides of a main corridor
  • Two students per room
  • Each floor has washrooms with showers
  • Lounge located on the lower level allows for group activities such as watching movies, hall events, etc.  This lounge is available on a drop-in basis or may be reserved for special functions.
  • Laundry facilities in the basement include washers and dryers
  • ResNet WiFi in all areas
  • For security reasons, the residence is locked 24 hours per day. Residents are provided with keys to the building, their rooms and mailboxes.

South Residence is Turning 50 in 2018!

Our largest residence community is also getting a summer face lift, with new cladding that will add refreshed colour to portions of its unique architecture.  Here is a glimpse of what you can expect to see in the Fall of 2018.

South - "Alcove" Single

Details

  • This floor plan applies to South rooms ending with digits 1, 2, 4, or 5.
  • Includes modular furniture which can be moved around the room to your liking.
  • Spacious closet and lots of shelving.
  • Small balcony - perfect for plants.
  • Rooms on the 1st and 5th levels have slightly different configurations

 

South - "Alcove" Double

Details

  • This floor plan applies to South rooms ending with the digit 3 on levels 1 - 4.
  • Shared balcony between both rooms.
  • Includes modular furniture which can me moved around the room to your liking.
  • One large set of closets for both residents.
